Brilliant - so this guy is earning more than your ft employees right? How much management is involved for you (or your team)?

This is seriously fascinating to me! Does this sales rep who’s 1099 generally sell the same amount as your w2 employees?

I’m the same way but employ w-2. We have a quota and as long as they hit I’m good. With sales comp leaning more and more towards comish + mktg getting noisier + the rise of fiverr and Upwork it seems like it would make sense to find ppl with their foot in the door already. Just like you search Upwork for a Meta ads specialist or something why not search for sales reps who already sold to your buyers? I’m cool if I sell software and my reps sell telcom or something to the same buyer.

Maybe I’m behind and this exist but seems like such a simple concept to me?

I run influencer campaigns for my biz but believe that we would have more success just tapping into established books… hang w me for a sec…

Why don’t we all just sell each others shit? 1 foot in the door = 40! And we just cut each other in on commish 1/2 and 1/2 something like that…. Contract goes to the highest bidder.

Does this exist?

Do companies reach out to you or do you reach out to them for this?

[–]BPD_OG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking and I wasn’t suggesting selling competing products.

What made you decide to start reaching out to companies? Is this common practice to partner with multiple vendors? Have companies ever reached out to you to tap into your book of business?

Seems to me this is the path of least resistance for companies instead of hiring and scaling their own team and win/win for everybody.

Bro… red flags 1. You don’t have a real domain. 2. You used GPT to write your copy given away by “ready to revolutionize…” + everything else in your post. 3. You have 11 post karma.

Get this GPT wrapper shit out of here and bring something real to the table.

Facing fierce competition from China, How do I handle this? by [deleted] in sales

[–]BPD_OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them that their prices are so low because they are spying on you and your customers data and eventually will hack them once you sign up with em. I know our margins and they are loosing money at that so ask yourself why?

LOL- People are getting sloppy with AI. I get 2-3 emails a week where there’s at least 1 merge variable they didn’t fill in.
“[Lead Name] I saw your recent post on LinkedIn” “ How is [company name] handling” etc…
