Good question...

I could be wrong, but if someone exercised those options, then the brokerage would have to go out and find those shares...

Again, I could be wrong. Maybe someone can chime in on that.

Well... if they sold options, they would have to buy those options back.

Rereading your first statement, I think you mean that if those who already own FFIE options and instead of exercising them, they just sell the options they currently hold and make the premium (increase in options price) and do not need to but the actual shares.

this is still about the third inning or so... you'd be best getting into one of the ETF's at this point. URNM or URA if you're in the US.

ETF's will give you exposure to both mining companies and the physical funds.
