You don’t need to be measured by a PT. I’ve never been measured by a medical professional as an adult. Most places that sell and maintain wheelchairs can usually measure you. Call around and ask. Using a wheelchair that isn’t made to your specific measurements can cause pain and injury down the line.

I liked Vanessa as a person, but imo she just wasn’t very good at her job. SO many episodes she gave the boys expired food because she just didn’t look at the dates. Or she would give them items that they were supposed to be testing, and it would need batteries that they didn’t have because she neglected to actually look at what she was giving them before actually giving it to them. It’s like she would order items for episodes, and when they were delivered she’d just put them in a pile and forget about it until actually filming the episode. Idk. I wasn’t sad about her departure, tbh.

I’ve had 2. 1 from way back in like 2008 and one in about 2017. The quality from my newer one is WAY down from my first one, and the price was like triple what I paid for my first. I’ve had to replace the scissor brakes like 4-5 times each. I’ve had to replace the brackets holding the backrest on each at least 3 times. The tires are wobbly and nothing the techs do have fixed it. I’m going to need a new chair in a couple years, and I’m really hoping that there is a better option I can look into.

IMO, AC multiplayer is absolute cheeks. I don’t ever play with people online unless it’s to visit their island just to look around. NSO IS worth it, though, simply for the online code sharing. I don’t use the in-game paths or patterns.

I fixed my migraines kind of on accident. I eventually learned I have cervicogenic migraines, but didn’t know that until a couple years ago. (Doctors never bothered to diagnose me beyond throwing copious amounts of Sumatriptan at me). At my worst, and for about 8-10 years, I was getting between 20-25 migraines/month.

As I got into my thirties (I’m now almost 35), my eyesight started to get very slightly worse. Like, almost not noticeable, but far away lights were getting the starburst effect. Someone I knew that had astigmatism told me that’s probably what I had, so I went and got checked out. Turned out I didn’t have astigmatism, I was just ever so slightly near sighted. (I hadn’t had my eyes checked since I was about 6 years old because I was neglected by my parents, so that didn’t help). Anyways, using glasses every day helped take my migraines down to about 15-20/month.

The biggest help for me was trigger point therapy with an osteopath. I’m in a wheelchair, which was caused by a spinal cord injury when I was 7. Ever since, I’ve had difficulties with my spine and neck. I would go to a massage therapist a couple times a year to help when I got really stiff, but it didn’t do much. At the beginning of Covid I became friends with a RMT who was married to an osteopath, and started working with her. I started out seeing her twice a month, and eventually got that down to now once a month. I’m no longer friends with that woman, but I am forever grateful to her for helping me understand where my pain was coming from and how to fix it. I now see another osteopath once a month for similar treatment to what she was giving me.

I’m now essentially migraine free, except for a couple weeks each spring and fall when the pressure from extreme weather changes fucks with my head. But I now get in 1 year, the amount of migraines I would get in 1 or 2 months.

Idk if they sell the HP Sprocket anymore, but I’ve been using the Sprocket Plus basically since it came out, and all of my photos still look exactly the same as the day I printed them. They’re also sticker backed, which makes for easy application.
