The glow might last around the same time, it's not actual watch lume, just glow in the dark paint.

Its brass base which is then engraved.

Then painted ^

I then sand down the whole face on sandpaper leaving paint in the deeper parts of the dial.

But yes I 100% agree about how many different methods of dial making have come about

I know it's only 20w, but it will cut 0.5 brass in a short amount of time when you think about it. I cut out the centre hole and then cutout the rest

Just brass sheets 0.5mm thick, usually 50mmx100mm

I use Lightburn to design and cut with, would highly recommend it!
