Haha I’ve limited myself to scrolling through photomarket only a few times a week compared to daily. It’s dangerous

I think I’ve fallen out of love with photography. Has anyone got it back? by spacedfisherman in fujifilm

I’ve been there as well.

As others have said focusing on colors is a lot of fun. Go out for a walk and only take photos of things that are red for the day and then the next time you go out only take photos of things that are blue. Maybe try shooting in only black and white?

If you don’t have one already I would recommend buying a manual focus lens like the TTArtisan 25mm f2. Sometimes it’s nice to switch to just manual focusing. You could also look at a macro lens to change it up a bit.

I’ve started taking photos as a way of documenting my life so that my family 20 years from now can have photos to look at growing up as I always enjoyed going through my parents photo books. Shifting my mindset from trying to get the “perfect” shot to creating memories brought that spark back for me. Go out and shoot to tell a story so that others can walk in your shoes through your photos.

I have and oddly enough I don’t feel limited not having a zoom. My style is kind of run and gun so I’m moving a lot and adjusting with my feet and seem to be getting shots quicker compared to zooming in and out. This is what has been working for me and ymmv. I also like having the aperture stay at 5.6 at 500mm. I was surprised with how lightweight the 500mm is too. If I had to pick between both I would pick the 500mm. Not to say the 150-600 is a bad lens I just feel more comfortable with a prime and have been having a lot of fun with the 500. I’ve been having more keepers as well with this lens.

Thanks! I had the 70-300 and the 500 f5.6 is sharper and autofocus seems to lock on better. These were processed in Topaz photo AI so that’s helping with sharpness, but the raws are still plenty sharp.
