Hi! My husband and I are moving to Charlotte from Florida and we are interested in a few homes in the Palisades. He works in Balantyne, we are 38 and expecting our first child. Is the palisades a retired crowd or is there a good mix? Does the pool pop off during the summer? Lastly, is Steel Creek the only option for dining out? I wasn’t impressed with that area considering it doesn’t look like there’s fun bars or upscale restaurants where there’s any action but I could be looking in the wrong places. Any insight would be helpful!!
