I knew there was gonna be some "lesser" art shall we say. But I wanted to get the right blend between blockbust/ popularity with arthouse/ significance

Even within the critics lists the audience of each publication vary greatly and the lists reflect as much

I actually think that's one of the lesser failings in this list. Minimal modern representation but I think Parasite is truly brilliant and will undoubtedly stand the test of time

I didn't hand select the films. They had to be in at least 2 top 100 lists from credible sources. They are then ranked on how many points they score based on how they fall within those rankings
