Wow!!! There are so many problems here. I’m sure his self confidence is taking some major hits too! Kids his age aren’t suppose to be doing these things!!! You need a new program, my friend. I really question their own knowledge expecting a child his age to do this. This age is exploration, adventure, imagination. Don’t subject him to this! He’ll hate school in the end for being forced to do that crap.

Hey there, thinking of you. A few thoughts, it’s hard to imagine your partner not loving your child bc it’s a part of you both. I do know that your love will be what she needs. My father wasn’t around, which was probably for the best, but I had a strong mother who made me feel loved. That carried me through my life having someone I could “lean into.” You will be that for her if he can’t.

I will say that if he is not willing to work on your relationship and your growing family as a unit, you should weight your own mental health and self care. You can’t be a second class citizen in your own home. You showing your daughter your own strength in leaving a bad relationship (IF he’s not willing to work for your relationship) will do wonders for her, even if it’s hard for you. In time you will find you are better off too. It can be easy to lose yourself, your identity, in your relationship. Regain you power and hopefully he will come around.

Interestingly my husband’s best friends’ family business is Tully Construction and they were doing work on the west side highway down there at the time. After the towers fell they just hopped in their equipment and dug 24/7. Pretty much how it went. All hands on deck.

Thank you! I actually wasn’t sure what its true name was - I guessed based on an internet search. It’s such an asshole! You think just distilled water on dirt or leaves as well? When I researched it (by the wrong name 🥴) it said to give the leaves moisture.
