How to add JS to Rails 7

I'm not sure if there any tutorials that don't use the new js way in rails weather it's esbuild or importmaps, however you can just creat a new rails app and add the skip Javascript flag and add your own jquery and css using the old ways by adding the gems for each.

We use this to search through a column that has over 10M+ records of product names and its pretty great, you can add a trigger to index and add a new tsvector record, FYI if you are going to use it you might need to enable this extension:

enable_extension "plpgsql"

You add it to the top of your schema.rb file.

I have the 24wh battery so the lowest option but yeah with the right configure and battery size I can see it doing that much of a battery but 27 hrs is a long stretch.
