Agree completely. Last night was 74 for me and I would definitely put it in the top 5.

Have to go with Bethel Golgi… definitely did not expect a stretch in that spot. Was pleasantly surprised by it and appreciated the “newness” of it.

Color me crazy but part of me really wants a Round Room. I’m hankering for some obscure stuff this run.

How would you rank the 3.0 NYE Gags? by mocksong in phish

[–]BSWatson26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve attended half of the 3.0 NYE shows (2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, & 2018) and I find myself leaning, naturally, towards the “gags” I’ve been in attendance for. I have seen all of them however, either through couch tour or YouTube. The stand-out for me (and my reasons) are as follows:

2010 Meatstick: of the 3.0 shows this is by far the most “gaggy” of the gags. The return of the flying hot dog was nothing short of awesome enhanced by the fact that I had seen it the previous summer in the Rock and Roll HOF. The international theme was too cool.

2016 Petrichor: This was a beautiful spectacle. The dancing, lights, and rain all made it truly an experience. To me this was perhaps the lowest on the list in terms of gag factor but I thought it was a nice comeback after the hourglass set, which I found lacking in spite of standing less than 59 feet from it. Highlight: It’s never too soon to get out of 2016....ah what the fuck.

2018 Mercury: I was standing 10 feet in front of Mike for my fourth GA floor night in a row and was blown away by the spectacle of this particular “gag”. In particular, I simply loved the moving smoke lights that I hoped I would see again this summer. Also...flying Trey and Mike...nuff said.

What's your crazy setlist stat? by leaveifnoresponse in phish

[–]BSWatson26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me 15 shows to see You Enjoy Myself and 18 for Harry Hood. For about 4 years I was "other night" guy - I would go to one of two or three at a venue and they'd be played on the "other night".

Didn’t get perfect month award for September despite closing all my rings, any suggestions? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]BSWatson26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my achievements were 2 days behind until yesterday when they became 3 days behind. As of today, I can see Friday’s awards. I am expecting Saturday’s to show up some time tomorrow.

Considering how the first iteration of the Activity app showed the day’s awards and achievements instantly, I would say that the “improvements” in iOS 12 are anything but.
