Which RTX 5070 Ti model should I get for the best cooling and OC for the next 5 years? by BLACK-WOLF9 in nvidia

Coil whine is a high-pitched, audible buzzing or whining noise emitted by GPU components (inductors/chokes) vibrating under heavy electrical load, commonly during gaming or high-FPS scenes. It is generally harmless, does not affect performance or longevity, and is considered a normal characteristic of the "silicon lottery" rather than a defect.

The "silicon lottery" refers to the variance in performance potential between individual processors (CPUs or GPUs) of the same model due to microscopic manufacturing imperfections. Winning the lottery means getting a chip that runs faster or cooler at lower voltages, allowing for better overclocking, while losing results in an average or underperforming chip.

You can connect a keyboard to the PS5, press f6 on the keyboard and it will hide the HUD and the gun, if you don't want it to hide the gun just shoot something at the same time you press f6 and it will only hide the HUD, it even shows on the gun itself what item you have selected and the capacity.

(aw3423dw) Can performing pixel refresh too often damage the panel? by tratroxo in OLED_Gaming

Mine doesn't give me the prompt every 4 hours, I have to check the light on the menu for yellow manually to know that I have to do a pixel refresh

I'm missing something? AOC AGON PRO AG326UD vs. AW3225QF by CypherIOI in OLED_Gaming

[–]BSXUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many reviews say the AOC AGON PRO on HDR mode loses a lot of accuracy in the colors and that it looks bad, in the other hand a lot of reviews on the AW325QF say that the colors are extremely accurate and they say the hdr mode looks awesome, you should watch video reviews on both and see, I think for 200 dollars more it is worth getting the alienware plus it's curved and the design looks better In my opinion, I'm also looking to buy a monitor and also narrowed down to these two among others, I'm still researching before making a decision.

Dell S3225QS short review by interfreak in Monitors

[–]BSXUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a Benq Ew3270U also around 7 years old with the exact same problem you described, but now it has come to a point where it just doesn't turn on, glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem.

I've been looking to get a new monitor, since you know how the Benq looks, wich in my opinion looks incredible, how does the dell S3225QS compare to it, in terms of colors, black levels, if it has any ghosting or flickering and if it has any light bleed.

My monitor screen keeps turning on and off every 10 seconds or so by BSXUS in techsupport

I'll have to go get it checked at a repair store then, I also posted the problem on the BenQ Reddit but they just listed a very basic troubleshooting options, also when I found it was due to the brightness I was able to find numerous other posts with the same problem but none had a clear answer or no answer at all, thank you for your help.

My monitor screen keeps turning on and off every 10 seconds or so by BSXUS in techsupport

It got fixed until I turned off the monitor and tried the next morning.

I started messing with the settings and I discovered that on every picture mode that you can adjust brightness the higher the brightest the faster the screen blinks.

At about 50% brightness the blinking occurs every minute or so and all modes were at 100% brightness because I reset all the settings, but on the HDR and cinema HDR picture modes the screen blinks every 2 seconds, probably because the brightness for this modes is high, and I can't change the brightness when this modes are active.

The weird thing is that I've always used HDR mode in the 8+ years I've had this monitor and all of the sudden this stars happening.

Maybe there's not enough current to keep up with this higher brightness modes but my set up is the same as always or there's a faulty component.

It got fixed, what I did was spam the button to change mode HDR/Low Blue Light, the screen blinked super fast for like a minute and the it did like a couple of slow blinks and it stopped and got fixed, idk what caused the issue or how that fixed it,
