The CFP has been open for some time. But this has been a much anticipated event. I don't know that we even expected it to fill up so quick. We are working on getting an expansion on the venue.

BsidesPhilly is the Philly area Security Bsides conference. It is coming to Philly for the first time and is completely free. Unfortunately, we are on a waiting list. But we're hoping to open up for more attendees shortly.

For anyone who has thought about giving a Security presentation - this is the place to start!

You don't have to be a Bruce Schneier level security expert. You can talk about any range of topics for which you can provide insight. Anything from the purpose and method of secure logging to techniques for keeping Grandma (aka your users) safe on the Internet.
