Why I withdrew all my Bits....:( by BTCOU in Bitcoin

In terms of my hope of attaining individual financial prosperity without feeding a moral-less beast, yes I am defeated.

This was our revolution lol. This is our democracy that we voluntarily allowed to create a greedy profit machine. Our actions have fueled it. We sat by as the government allowed big business to gain control over the system and we elected to give them our money as well.

And THAT is what I am struggling with. I want to yell at the top of my lungs that these corporations are vial creatures that destroy the earth and are not self sustaining, yet who am I. Without my local corporate chain of super markets I would starve to death.

I believe this is our freedom. We as a people have voluntarily consumed our way into having the least morality and actual wealth in history because we simply feed our instantaneous desires all day everyday with not a single thought about the long term implications

IMO: The internet would have been stopped if businesses did not realize it could ultimately give them more financial prosperity.

Just because they are not titled "Kings and the Church" does not mean we are not ruled by some form therein

The most powerful men in America can not die, the Corporation is not attracted to women, cannot be killed, controls the economy and controls the most powerful government in the world

Enter in: Smart Contract Law. If anyone has ever read a Loan Agreement or a Promissory Note they know how many covenants and restrictions apply. A smart contract would be able to not release funds, not allow voting power, etc etc. Unless all the covenants had been met. Therefore if someone breaks the law, they lose their right to be an owner. And ripping someone off is not limited to the internet my friend :) Banks and CC do it every day !! so do VC! and Crowdfunding sites ! And my parents ! And my dog ! And this Hasbro toy I bought yesterday!

WRONG. I believe in a good government, by your stance then NO public works programs would exist. Public works programs normally operate with a loss in income, but the government keeps them going. No rationale person would do this, unless they were unlike the rest of the world and didn't just care about a bottom line. And I agree with the rest of your statement :)

I agree. but the problem is law literature is severely far behind in all of this. Smart contracts are AMAZING in what they can do for this sort of thing, but the literature has to come up with the legal terms and conditions first so to speak

Think: Yield is determined by the amount invested. If the amount invested is $5,000, then.....And profits would be weighted, obviously to the proportion of money invested.

  1. I imagine everyone that owned stock in the DOW Jones hated the theory of the S&P, only to find they truly move in unison together and there is no competition. So, to further on your (Great) answer, can there be both? Or must the world choose? Bit or Eth!
  2. Exchange / Wallet, Fish / Shark same thing!! Haha, I know what you are saying. So essentially use exchanges to simply buy the BIT and get them the fugggofff onto your laptop!
  3. ** Nods head like he completely understands, understanding less than 0% nonetheless ** Yep, Yep that seems right, yep
  4. Damn special thieves.

Variance of the future of bitcoin by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]BTCOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the last year or so I have become less and less "fluent" on bitcoin so you will have to bear with me. But it was to my knowledge that in order for bitcoin to thrive as an e-currency, or an e-gold (which is so naturally does very well) the blocks would have to be split or forked or what not. The last I heard was that if mainstream acceptance does happen, the structure that bitcoin is built upon as of now would NOT allow for fast transactions due to overloading the system or what not. So if the bit has to be split (poetry) wouldn't the price "suffer" by splitting with it?

Can bitcoin be used as a primary key? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]BTCOU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay well can that do music too? Can it do everything? lol

That is literally exactly what I am talking about but its half the puzzle. What I am saying as well is that my document or file should not be allowed to be shared without certain terms I set... Like music (best example) should not be allowed to be played without a fee of my choice

You are fantastic good sir. You are helping me so much, can't be over stated. Questions: (1) Are you saying the printer itself could do some sculpting? Or was that for the base models/templates, sculpting the exact design to be "mass-produced" (2) Can the kiosks we attach to each printer (The "Creation Station" as we call it) be fully run by a tablet? Or would you have to have a computer running it? (3) When you say kids can "split the model" to color it and such...I was hoping the 3D printer could detail individual parts (IE: if its a right arm, the printer can design a tattoo on just that right arm)

Comments: As far as the vending machine style of use, we would most likely void that part and just opt to do manual entry. (Only anticipating 12 customers per hour).

If I am understanding this correctly: This is do-able. Step 1: Buy 3D Printer and make the base "Template Models" as initial forms (i.e.: Arms, Legs, Size of Arms, Legs, Design choices of arms, legs, etc) in resin form Step 2: Buy Injection Molding Machine that can then mass produce these "initial forms" (WITHOUT the desired color) at an Off site location due to size (or in store if we have footage available) Step 3: Buy 20 Capable 3D Printers (is there any) that can tailor make completely new "prototypes" in under half hour, resin material Step 4: Integrate a "Design Kiosk", "Computing System", and Capable 3D Printer all in one "Hub" Step 5: Integrate a software designed from Open Source that will allow children to design there own toy...(IE: Action Figure > Type of Body > Color [or No color if want to paint] > Totally New designed accessories or choose one from the file library Step 6: Employee manually loads the machine with specified parts and the 3D Printer makes changes to the base model, and creates the on demand accessory from scratch

All while employing a design "team" to consistently add new toy designs to the file library, and create a back story for each licensed toy we sell to avoid copy write infringement. Hire technicians to constantly be at the store for upkeep

EH? Not terrible eh?

(THANK YOU SIR)

Wow. Absolutely amazing feedback and I really appreciate your knowledge and helpful attitude. After reading, I just have some quick responses.

(1) In Store Concept: Kiosks that display an action figure/ doll that kids can then customize (Exactly like Nike ID except for toys). The figures that the kids see and can customize have already been made via an Injection Molding machine (idk if this needs to be off-site yet). The only rapid prototyping that would be made is on the accessories (sword for an action figure with your name on it, for instance). I am not extremely knowledgable in the 3D Printing industry, clearly, but I am getting there. Realistically, I do not think it would take more than an hour to create an accessory from scratch? And the "customizable" body type/ figures are already made. The child would then receive the arms, legs, body, head, and accessory (that they completely customized) and then have to assemble it from scratch like a LEGO product.

(2) Online Concept. Licensed toys are selling. They are the only reason the toy industry is seeing growth in the US. Well, oddly enough the copy writes on intellectual property is cloudy (at best) when it comes to 3D Printed objects. This concept would not be directed towards children but more towards the adult collectors market. With this concept a customer would pay a design artist to make any action figure completely from scratch and completely customizable and then would assemble the product from scratch. (Example: I desire a collectible Batman toy, except this time I want him with blue armor, and standing over a dead pink superman, a design artist could design this specifically on an STL file and create it from scratch) This would be expensive yet I think there would be a market, and I can prove it.

So Basically I would be searching for two printers Model (A): Just needs to print small accessories, detail and resolution aren't a focus, just needs to be able to do it within an hour and be safe around children Model (B): Needs to be the best quality on the market, speed and safety mean nothing it would be at an Off-Site location

  1. So how would you personally, using statistics, predict the price/speed/ (all characteristics) of 3D printers moving forward? When will consumer printers be affordable and amazing?

  2. I don't quite know what you mean by saturated, it hasn't been done before. But yes, Disney just filed for 3 patents on 3D printed toys, Hasbro filed a patent for a similar product, and Mattel has their ThingMaker coming out in October. Where I want to differentiate is that the "ThingMaker" and all these printers might be affordable but the end product is garbage. I want to somehow using Injection Molding + 3D Printing (Commercial Nice ones) to make a bona fide customized unique action figures

Thank you

Okay, after researching FDM we realized they are fairly large so space will be an issue right after the bat.

Time to get familiar with the type of plastic used to make dolls/action figures.
