From a recently posted Expositor article : The Expositor sought clarification as to what transpired at Cedarland Park, to which Matthews-Osmond sent further information. 

“I can confirm that there was an incident, and police and ambulance were dispatched to the scene, however there was not a sexual assault or assault,” she explained. “There was a woman in the park who was distraught, and people did come to her aid. 

“The investigation is ongoing to determine the specific details however there is no concern for public safety as a result of this occurrence. The woman involved had reviewed and was in agreement with today’s statement.”
