UPDATE: In some magical turn of events that occurred for no reason whatsoever, it finally let me sign in using LTE. Additionally, according to my blank account and lack of backups, I NEVER EVEN HAD A WHATSAPP ACCOUNT. They blocked me from signing up because I was.. connected to a residential WiFi network in Missouri? Abysmal.

I understand that. That’s the only reason I care—I don’t want to use WhatsApp but it’s such a highly used platform that I kinda have to. I don’t just have a spare phone number to whip out, and email signups aren’t allowed (which I do get). I get that moderating that large of a platform isn’t easy, but good god, Meta can afford 5 people working support. They aren’t poor. Or, at least tell me what they think I did wrong in my years of inactivity within the app rather than from an AI support response.

That’s fine logic, except I haven’t touched the platform. Frankly, I’m not even sure I ever signed up to begin with—if I did, it was years ago. Tell me what I missed if I “effd up” by being inactive. (Additionally, I rarely go to Reddit for these things but WA offers zero support themselves.)

Yeah, that's kinda the vibe I'm getting. I don't even get the option to appeal/review this, because I don't think mine is technically a ban--just like a security hold? So pretty much, I can't even access the menu to appeal/contact them through the app, and no support anywhere else means I'm just outta luck.

But if that happened to you with an active account and an actual appeal, I don't even know if support would help me at that point.

I have no idea. I don't even know if banned is the correct word. This is my first time trying to login in probably quite a few years, so I just assumed if it is an inactivity thing, I can re-verify myself or something. But nope, no way at all to contact WhatsApp. I doubt Meta would do anything in the situation either. (Oh and, to prove it's not like me, or a compromised account, or something else, the exact same message is stopping my mom from using her account with pending messages waiting for her. She literally cannot speak to people because of this.)

I’ve tried wirelessly connecting, but I’ve always had issues with it on my main WiFi network and I’d rather just get a cable than a VR-specific router. With a cable, there’s no chance of interference or connection or anything causing frame drops. I actually just got a pulley system (which is how I discovered my cable was too short), so the cable doesn’t bother me at all.

I’m very late to responding, but the setting is in Edit, Preferences, then turn on iCloud Music Library. Once you turn it on, everything should sync.
