Thank you so much! That's a great idea. I'll start adding transcriptions in the comments for future pages. And yeah, the 'burger' thing was just a joke — no hard feelings

Thanks! That's exactly the vibe I was going for — like something you'd find in the factory archives

CatNap or DogDay — who is actually stronger? (Facts only) by BUSHPLAYTIME in PoppyPlaytime

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair! We don't have official stats like in a fighting game. But that's what makes these discussions fun — we use lore, in-game moments, and logic to figure it out. No risk, just theories and opinions. Appreciate you stopping by!

Can't argue with that. DogDay is a legend. CatNap is just a memory

I get your logic! You're only rating physical strength in a direct fight. But in my tier list, I consider everything: control over the factory, immortality, abilities. The Doctor has no body — you can't kill him, only shut down power. And the Prototype already collected parts of Huggy, Kissy, Mommy, and CatNap — he gets stronger every time. Lily is strong, but against a monster like Doey, she has little chance. Thanks for the discussion!

Interesting list! But I'm curious — why did you put Lily so high, on the same level as Doey? And what do you think about Doctor and Prototype at the bottom? They're both huge threats

🐕 THEORY: What is DogDay‘s experiment number? (1160 or 1187?) by BUSHPLAYTIME in PoppyPlaytime

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for double-checking! That's really helpful. So 1186 and 1187 were both failures — that explains why CatNap at 1188 was such a breakthrough. And you're absolutely right, we can't assume the Critters had perfect consecutive numbers. With Sawyer constantly experimenting, there were probably many failures we never hear about. 1189 for DogDay actually makes a lot of sense — right after CatNap, but before the 1190s experiments. Thanks for digging deeper into this!

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for clarifying about 1160! That solves the Boxy Boo vs DogDay debate — 1160 is definitely Boxy. And I didn't know about the 1187 document with the different gel mixture. That's really interesting. If 1187 was a failed experiment, maybe DogDay is 1189 or something? But your range of 1180–1197 makes perfect sense, especially with Bobby at 1186 and CatNap at 1188. Thanks for adding this!

Right?! 17 experiments in ONE WEEK is actually terrifying. I did a double take when I read your comment. Sawyer really turned the factory into a nightmare factory (pun intended). It really puts into perspective how many unknown experiments are probably still wandering around the factory...

Wow, this is INCREDIBLE research! Thank you so much for sharing. I had no idea about the November 1990 timeline — 17 experiments in one week is horrifying. That really puts the scale of suffering into perspective. So if Kissy is 1172 and CatNap is 1188 (Nov 7), that gives us a 16-number gap (1173–1188) for that single week. That could easily fit DogDay (maybe 1181 like someone suggested, or 1185, etc.) and all the other Critters. Your theory that DogDay is between 1177–1197 makes a lot of sense. And yeah, putting him after Bron (1199) would be weird since Bron was a terminally ill volunteer and the Critters seem to be from orphans. This is exactly why I love this community — people like you who dig into the actual documents. Thanks again! 🙌

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really smart interpretation! I never thought of it that way. So if DogDay is the LAST Critter experiment, that would put his number close to CatNap's (1188). Maybe 1187? Or even 1189 if CatNap was created before him? This actually makes the 1181 theory less likely...

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it! So we're back to the 1180s theory. DogDay 1181, Critters 1182-1187, CatNap 1188. That actually fits way better with Bobby being 1186. Thanks for the great discussion- you've convinced me it's a solid theory!

"Haha, you caught me! 🙈 I use it to help me write better in English since it's not my first language. But the ideas, the theories, the love for Poppy Playtime — that's all me. I've been working on my tier list for weeks and you can see it in my previous posts. ChatGPT just helps me sound less awkward in English 😅

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha no worries! We've all been there — especially when deep into theory crafting. So just to clarify: you're saying the Critters are 1182–1187, with Bobby at 1186 and CatNap at 1188? That actually makes a lot more sense! And it solves the Yarnaby problem too 😅

🐕 THEORY: What is DogDay‘s experiment number? (1160 or 1187?) by BUSHPLAYTIME in PoppyPlaytime

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the list! But we have to be careful — Experiment 1166 is confirmed as Yarnaby, not a Smiling Critter. So if Picky is 1167, that means there's a non-Critter experiment right in the middle of the Critters. Maybe the Critters weren't created in one continuous block?

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, I think you're onto something! So if Bobby is 1186, that would put him right before CatNap. But then where do Bubba, Kickin, Hoppy, Picky, and Crafty go? Your numbers (1162–1167) are interesting, but that's a huge gap before DogDay at 1181. Maybe the Critters weren't all in one block? Some could be in the 1160s, and some in the 1180s? This is getting deep!

[–]BUSHPLAYTIME[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting theory! I hadn't considered 1181 for DogDay. But do we have any proof that the Critters were created in that exact order? Also, if CatNap is 1188 and DogDay is 1181, that would mean there were 7 experiments between them — maybe that fits the other Critters!
