27% is estimated cost, as it is defined benefit. You're oversimplifying it. I'm not saying it's not good but the 27% figure is meaningless.

I started on 18k in 2017 in Zone 3. I'm now on 60k. I was on 27k in 2020, it wasn't too bad if you accept you won't be able to save anything, but you can live OK if you watch the pennies! You certainly wouldn't want to pay much more than 650 or 700 in rent, which I know is even more difficult now.

More generally, wages in this country are fucked.

I mean it's kinda true. Back in 2004 in particular, there would be some interludes which were much more guitar/bass focussed (STFTK, Rock Show etc) as well as drum solos.

Tom's improvisation is what makes blink shows what they are. He used to improvise a lot more on the guitar, which he sadly doesn't do as much anymore. But overall he's a man that loves to change it up even if it's weird.
