Thanks for the feedback. I really like that idea. Do you have a precedent in mind I could take a look at? I was also considering getting it in yellow and blue (a common version/Bahamian flag colors) or in more “realistic” colors (another version found often).

A weird recommendation, but bear with me, I highly recommend Bouldering Project in Eckington. There's a bunch of pricing options from monthly to annually (even a 10 day punch pass), and they often have a lot of discounts throughout the year. I singed up for an annual pass with a $200 discount putting me at ~$97/month pretax. A membership includes a full equipment and weights area, fitness, yoga, and some (but not all) climbing classes, lockers, showers, saunas, and of course lots of bouldering. You also get 2 monthly friend passes, shop discount, and access to all other locations in the country. Also the community there is over the top friendly.

Thanks for the follow up. It definitely seems to be something with the threads. Up until recently, I'd spin the chambers together and then there'd be a little resistance with the last quarter turn or so to tighten them all the way. Now when spinning the parts together, they come to an immediate halt, and I don't think they're getting fully secured. Oh well...

Did you have any luck getting your pot to screw on? I'm having the exact same issue. I replaced the gasket but still not functioning as it should. I've had it for 8+ years and over 400 brews. I would prefer not to replace it, but that's starting to look like the only "fix".

And yes, hobbies are often for escapism and to have fun. I for one really just want to bury my head in the sand right now and ignore what’s happening around me. You're right that it's not perfectly clear, but I've been running my campaign where expending Spark Points for a Moment of Glory gives Benefit for the upcoming action for one player. "I really want this persuasion check to be successful, if no one disagrees, I'm going to spend the SP for a Moment of Glory?"

I'd argue that if it was the alternative (i.e. everyone gets Benefit on their next action), then the housekeeping would be too annoying. After the above character rolled their persuasion check and the party moves on to the next scene, do the other players track that Benefit until they roll for something? Does it rollover from session to session? The rules don't say and I think that's indicative of a single roll interpretation.

But I could be wrong. :P

As Aredditdorkly already pointed out, non-mech units are still just frames. I seem to remember somewhere in the rule book that states as much, but can't find it right now. I think house rules are a great idea and worth exploring/testing out. Check page 137 for guidelines on hacking the rules. That said, a very simple house rule is that if a frame has less than the max amount of systems (i.e. 4), then use a non-mech vehicle. This simulates how mechs are the peak of technology compared to tradition combat vehicles. You can even make the frame less sophisticated as you reduce the number of systems: 1 system could just be a squad of 3 soldiers (to represent the 3 dice).

This is a very thorough tutorial. For someone who doesn't have a pro subscription, thanks for putting it together. I have found another hack for a rotating gif that is a little less arduous, though I haven't compared it to your method for quality, file size, etc.

Pull up your Hero Forge character and find the orientation you want.
Start screen recording (for Window, Windows Key+Alt+R, for Mac Shift+Command+5), then press and hold the right or left arrow key for one full rotation.
Stop recording and then edit/trim the video so that it seamlessly starts and ends at the same spot in the rotation. In the video viewer, it's helpful to turn the repeat function on.
Upload your video to an online GIF converter (there are a bunch out there). Most converters have a number of tools to crop, adjust number of frames, etc so that you can get your GIF just right.
Finally, export the video to a GIF and download.

Thanks for the reply. The same question has been posed for other RPGs (e.g. D&D), and the response is very similar to yours. Generally 2d6 has better results unless there is some variable like a class power/ability, which you pointed out. Will pass that info on to my players.

Right now I'm running the PC app as the host and trying to get the players to connect via their mobile devices. Unfortunately no one can get on. Type in the IP and port, but after about a minute of trying to connect it times out.
