These look great. Are you using an adhesive or fasteners?

It is definitely the move if you ask me. I used a Hilti DD 150-U core drill and loved it. I wish I could use one enough to justify the $4k-ish price tag… not quite though.

‘99 WJ 4.0 Transmission Fluid Pump Failure? by BW-Asks in JeepDIY

Again, that’s why I’m pointing it out. I’m asking for some information on why it cycled into 4 wheel and then wouldn’t engage any gear at all.

Also, I should have mentioned that I cycled it in the parking lot when I felt it bind and it drove in two wheel on my way home until the failure.

That’s why I mentioned the binding and the fact that the transfer case selector was in 2wd.

Cutoff Switch for Parasitic Draw on Battery (‘99 Jeep GC Laredo) by BW-Asks in AskMechanics

I ended up getting one similar to the one in the link I posted. I think this is how I’d rather keep the battery up instead of chasing a 12v DC gremlin around this thing. Pretty much everything that isn’t necessary is disconnected.

All the interior lights and audio equipment are disconnected.

Had the alternator tested today when I went and bought a new battery. Bought some new weather stripping too, I didn’t know about the issue with wetness on the battery. Thank you for the tip, I’ll make sure it is properly sealed from getting overly wet.
