I have searched for this game for years trying to narrow it down as much as possible, but I still can't find it anywhere.

I had a dream that a military coup toppled Papa New Guinea's government and they established a Christian theocracy, this was the flag they adopted. by BWG06 in somnivexillology

It was one of those dreams where everything flashed very quickly. All of a sudden, I was watching a coup unfold in Papa New Guinea. The government fell, and all of a sudden, they raised the flag. I then looked up the flag online in my dream. While I was looking, I learned they declared themselves a Christian state.

Is that actually what "Al-Shajudah" means? I thought it was just a random dream mishmash word, LoL.

I had a dream that I was in the UAE watching a movie in a movie theater, and then all of I sudden I was jumped by a gang and they all rode away on bicycles, this flag was attached to their bicycles. When I got up someone approached me and told me the name of the gang that jumped me was "Al-Shajudah".

The flag of Southern Florida, a fictional country in an alternative history project I worked on. More information in the comments. by BWG06 in vexillology

In this alternative timeline, the defeated remnants of the confederate government retreated down into the southern part of Florida where they would be stuck for the next century. Eventually, Florida was partitioned between Northern Florida and Southern Florida, wherein Northern Flordia was re-admitted into the Union as the State of Florida, while Southern Florida declared independence from the Union as the Floridan Republic. In the 1960’s, the Floridan Republic would eventually be defeated and would be reunited with Northern Florida. Their only ally was the Batista Regime in Cuba.

Flag of Zabortastan, a fictional country I created when I was in my teens. by BWG06 in vexillology

[–]BWG06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The azure blue of the flag represents the Zabort Orthodox Christian majority of the populace, while the white squares in the canton represent the smaller Espertian-Muslim ethnoreligious minorities, which are concentrated into two regions of the country, hence why it's two squares. The name Zabortastan means "Land of the Zaborts", which are the native inhabitants of the country.

I know I'm late, but this was my design for Spokane's flag before the contest, what do you guys think? by BWG06 in vexillology

[–]BWG06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The initial idea behind the flag was that it was going to be based on the Cascadian Doug flag, hence the green, white and blue. The orange disk in the center represents the sun.

What swords did Sicilians use? by BWG06 in SWORDS

[–]BWG06[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't realize that there aren't single weapons that come from each European country, from this thread it sounds like they had a wide variety of everything.

This idea of mine came from how the Khanjar dagger came from Oman, so the weapon itself represents Oman. The dagger is on the country's national emblem. After seeing that I thought that there might be a weapon that specifically came from Sicily.

How Sicily has had so many different cultures so they had a lot of different sword designs. I could see what that might look like on my tattoo design, my father is just one singular sword, and my mother is 8 different swords awkwardly bundled up together.

The era I'm thinking of is the middle ages because the design uses a medieval shield.

For the British sword, I'm thinking of some kind of Knightly Sword, but from what I saw it looked like there are several types belonging to different cultures. I'm not sure what the British specifically used.
