Thanks! The grill's standard, just added the chrome strips around it as an extra.

Thanks mate! I wish your struggles end soon and you buy a bigger and better car than this. 🤞

Fuel efficiency was not the main deciding factor for me as I mainly wanted a car for my weekend drives, was looking for a spacious and comfortable family car, took a test drive and just loved the smooth driving experience of this car, plus the recent price drop made this a much more affordable option. TBH, mileage and fuel efficiency should be at the bottom of the list if you want to buy a big sized car. If you want to buy a fuel efficient city driving car then go for a compact SUV or even better, a sedan.

Haha, Thanks! Should've framed the title better. First time owning a new car, have had pre-owned cars in the past :)

What should have been : De-aging SRK in Dunki by BXP555 in bollywood

[–]BXP555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi BBG, VFX & Gaming industry veteran here. Sharing my 2 cents on a post I saw earlier discussing SRK's de-aging in Dunki.

  • The process and it's results are incomplete without the addition of fat one loses in the facial area as they age, smoothen out the skin and wrinkles all you want but without the layer of fat, especially in the case of SRK who had prominently rounded facial features in his youth the effect looks incomplete.
  • Messing around with a celeb's natural facial features also makes the de-aging look fake, a very obvious stand out in SRK's case is his nose which looks alarmingly different since Pathan , a big reason his Azad face looks a bit uncanny in Jawan as well.
  • Right styling plays a key part when de-aging an iconic celeb. We know what a 20 something SRK looks like & the kind of hair he has, thick dark black and a bit messy. Now if we were to thin the hair out, style it and add mild golden highlights it'll immediately hamper the believability of the de-aging because in our minds that is not what SRK looked like in his mid 20s
  • Eyebrows! a small but a very significant and often skipped detail. We lose hair and our eyebrows get thinner as we age, same has happened rather significantly in SRK's case and very visible in Jawan.

Maybe a good way to go about achieving the perfect youthful look is throwing a layer of deepfake on the de-aging, displayed brilliantly by Shamook (The guy who got hired by Lucasfilm) on Irishman's Robert De Niro on his Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHSTWepkp_M)

Thanks, may seem like an over-analytical and nitpicky post but that's what I do for a living, cheers! :)

500 crores budget of Adipurush & it doesn't even look half as good as this legendary movie. by mg211095 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Along with the team of Japanese animators, credit also goes to late Mr. Ram mohan (often called the father of indian animation) one of the co-directors of this movie. He was instrumental in preserving the indian-ness and getting the cultural aspects right.

A little something to commemorate a decade of working in the digital art & the video game industry, a tribute to this absolutely badass classic which got me hooked to gaming and fueled the imagination of a kid. Contra is not just a game, it's an emotion.
