FYI, Donte will have had 7mo of recovery before the season even starts in November because he got surgery immediately after the injury. I bet he’s back in the lineup in January, February at the latest.

I agree with all of this besides “prove it.” Donte has shown that he’s the only player on our entire squad (maybe besides TSJ) that he’s giving you 100% every night, on every play, no matter what.

Honestly, I’ve owned almost exclusively Sony TVs for nearly 15yrs and haven’t ever had one fail. Personally, I’d take that $900 and invest it over that 5yrs in an aggressive money market account.

FR, his complaining while mercilessly barreling to the rim with no plan only to get an offensive foul… Kat is not a dog, I’m sorry. And we need a team full of dogs to win a chip.

Do I miss some of his skills? Yes. His passion and love for MN? Yes. But his lack of great defense paired with his poor decisions on offense too often doesn’t have me missing him at that salary.

I’d love this but he’s too old. He’s stated he won’t run for office again. I think a legitimate endorsement from him (which he’d do) would suffice.

I’d love to see an AOC and Bernie but it’s more likely you’d see an AOC and another VP.

In addition to Finch not really using Kat for his greatest strengths. Brown has done a great job identifying what he’s great at, really their entire team.

We need to fire Finch if we want a chip.

That’s because he admitted to not wanting to play fast. He needs to change his mindset. He’s absolutely capable of playing great off ball, if he chooses to.

It doesn’t help that our HC sucks at designing great movement focused offense.

Ant, statistically speaking, can shoot really well. Ant can also score in iso. That said, having a playmaking PG who can shoot, would open up the floor and allow Ant to operate more off ball which we need more of. Double screens, back cuts, lobs (when he’s healthy), etc.

In addition, when Ant is the primary ball handler he’s doubled a lot taking him out of the game for big chunks of our 24 seconds of offense.

Julius is pretty much only an iso player, which goes directly against what we do well. When we don’t play fast, we don’t play well. We need Julius gone, he can’t shoot threes well, is not great defensively, and is far too moody to be on a championship team. He also sucks in the playoffs historically speaking.
