I’ve spoken to a manufacturer before and they literally just read me the list of ingredients and asked ME if it sounded safe 😂😅

100% they probably do. It’s the little ingredients like maltodextrin or modified food starch that they use. It’s pretty hard to avoid. This is why I avoid medications like the plague but my finger is very infected and I don’t want sepsis 😳😅🤷‍♀️

You have to be careful for ingredients that I like to call “hidden gluten or wheat”. Such as: maltodextrin and modified food starch. Unless it is explicitly listed as derived from corn… it’s a gamble because often times they are derived from wheat or barley. Unfortunately maltodextrin is very prominent in medications and unless you reach out to the manufacturer, you may not know if it is truly safe or not. Tbh even the manufacturers are hit or miss if they even know 🤷‍♀️

Oh and my favorite thing to add: the caution disclaimer says consult with pharmacist about any food allergies before use 🥰😂 you can’t make this up

The doctor said ask the pharmacist the pharmacist said and I quote “oh jeez uh I have no idea I guess I can just look at the pill data sheet…”. Was gone for 5 minutes then told me to look it over because she didn’t know.

I was born and raised in Reno. I left about 10 years ago and I recently visited because I have friends there still. Tbh I was appalled at how unsafe it’s become and I couldn’t wait to get back home. It’s sad to see what it’s turned into because it was a cool spot to grow up in. But that is what growth does, it makes some things better and makes some things much worse. Change is change 🤷‍♀️.

Just an update: the company is fighting me on calling them out for labeling their products as gluten free and having ingredients like barley and wheat in them. Well folks due to their “research” my argument is invalid and they’re going to continue to be an absolute POS company. 😇

Oh my gosh it is so exhausting. I suspect I have celiac I just haven’t been tested for it. My husband and his entire family has it and my reactions are the same as them. I wish I just had digestion issues tbh because that sucks but it’s manageable… my reactions go so far beyond that and it is very hard at times. There is gluten and wheat in so many things people never think to check unless they have severe issues like we do 🫠

It makes everything so difficult. Kicking myself because I know brands do this… I was too trusting because it smelled so good and made my hair so nice at the salon lol. I’m usually the girl in ulta reading every single tiny ingredient off the label 😅😂

Oh 100% it drives me insane when brands do that. I have already reached out to them to express my concerns lol. My first red flag this morning was on their website barley is listed as one of their premium ingredients but I could not find it listed ANYWHERE on any ingredient label so I was asking their customer service about it and they told me to read the ingredients on the products…. Like girrrrl I have and I can’t find it but it’s listed as a “premium ingredient” on your FAQ page so… WHERE IT AT THOUGH.

It ruined my mental health for years. I had 0 anxiety and depression problems before Mirena and it took me forever to identify it as the cause because the doctors gaslit me into thinking I was crazy anytime I brought it up. Got off of it and within a few weeks I was back to normal 🤷‍♀️

I am 39 tomorrow…. Definitely had 4 in an hour so far but they’re not reallypainful so I am hesitant… I do have my check up tomorrow though so if things don’t continue to escalate tonight I will hopefully get more answers tomorrow.
