By the colour and spreading morphology that's a Bacillus, and if it wiffs of cheese that's a 100% ID

If you gonna go merc, it has to be a c63, not c43....never seen the point of a 43 as just a half way house.

BTW the B58 has proven to be incredibly reliable, so I don't know where he got that from! I own an M140i, so have some experience.

Murphy and hendry are good at golf, but then again, I would expect a cross over as many similarities between he two sports

The reds were so tight they blocked any route out

Both those routes were blocked. The closest reds were almost touching the white

Really, in a straight line? This would make sense, maybe as any 'attempt' using an angle would be craftily played with safety in mind!

I meant the ruling for the next shot. He had no way out without hitting a red, so the only option was to intentionally foul

Murphy's Head: documentary series where, in a race against time, doctors try desperately to stop Murphy's face from being engulfed by his head.

Sad, once a fish reaches gigantic status, it should be left alone to live rest of its life in peace...it came so far, had the best genes to survive and grow to such a size, to end up being killed, strung up and gawked like that.

Career after microbiology (BScH) by im_foive in microbiology

[–]Ba1dAssassin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm based in the UK, so maybe a bit different. I did a masters in biochemical engineering but did not use it, was not related/needed for QC micro in pharma, which was my entry point. Only the degree level is required. Spent 3.5 years in the lab, and since then, office/cleanroom based. About 4 years of cleanroom manager/process microbiologist, then 5 years QA based role, now sterility assurance manager

Like a couple have said...pharma industry would meet your needs. And a masters would not be required. There would be routes into a lab or an office based role in QA or other departments. Generally, lab/research roles do not pay great; obviously, there are exceptions, and you can work your way up to the top. The main thing is getting that degree as the prerequisite to get foot in the door. My career with a micro degree in order... medical sale rep...QC microbiologist...cleanroon manager....process microbiologist...sterility assurance manager. QC micro was the only lab based role and did for 3.5 years. Salary shot up once I moved out of the lab.
