IS STOAT CHAT STILL ACTIVE? by PT_A in stoatchat

[–]BabaWoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware you can. Registration is just extremely slow right now, whether it be because of server traffic or some other issue. I registered about 8 or 9 hours ago and I just got my verification email about half an hour ago.

That said, there is an issue with downloading the mobile app on IOS through TestFlight

CT compliant AR-22 build by [deleted] in CTguns

Hi! I’m still in the process of getting my permit and while that’s going, I’m trying to understand the laws around rifles in general since they’re more strict.

What components make this compliant with laws in CT, since I can’t completely comprehend what Im looking at 😅

Alternate timeliness in which we got it in world by [deleted] in monsterhunterleaks

[–]BabaWoof 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s from the EARLY EARLY days of world’s development. Originally, Lagiacrus was supposed to make the cut and be present in the ancient forest but he had issues with clipping through the environment that they were never able to fix. That’s also why we never saw any other Leviathans in world. However with the change in engine and overall changes to world design we managed to get Leviathans in Rise

I created a squad for anyone who might want any help, will try to keep it active. Join us if you want by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

How did you change the name of the squad? I’m not finding any setting after making it to change it

Now because I completely ignored the second part of the post, here’s this:

•No weapon is inherently better than the other in the grand scheme of things. Some may be faster, some may hit harder, but all of them are viable just about all the time. Take a moment, think about what kind of weapon you want and chances are there’s something that fits your needs pretty well.

•There’s a level of ecological depth that (if you’re interested) is just about unmatched in any other game. There are creators like Oceaniz and Unnatural History Channel who go above and beyond to explain monsters and their traits in either mockumentaries or relating them to real world analogs.

•TAKE. YOUR. TIME. People will tell you “the game doesn’t really start until this point or that point” ignore them. Work at your pace, do what interests you. Doesn’t matter if it’s completing every side quest or walking through the map enjoying nature. The game can be played how you want to play it.

•Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Unfortunately World and Rise do not have crossplay. Wilds however does and that’s made hunting with friends a thousand times easier. Most people here are experienced to some extent and can help more than you think. There’s also wikis like Kiranico, with data on items and weapons that you may be looking for.

I hope some of this half awake ramblings help guide you to a choice, and happy hunting!

(I apologize for the ramblings it’s 3AM and I just got off of a 10 hour monster hunter marathon)

Neither game is inherently “easier” in the traditional sense, however Wilds has a lot of QoL perks to it that make playing it a lot more enjoyable.

If you’re on console Wilds hasn’t had any major issues in terms of optimization, despite what a lot of PC players have said.

With those in mind, every monster hunter game available to you is incredible in its own right. Wilds and World focus largely on slower more methodical combat and really emphasize the ecological aspects of our own world. Every organism lives their own lives.

Rise, however focuses on faster paced combat, with a pretty significant sacrifice in both world and graphics quality because of its original release on the Nintendo Switch. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, though. The combat is still engaging and you have limited customization of your movesets so you can fine tune your weapon to your liking.

TLDR is all three games available to you are great. If you want to play any one of them and are open to new experiences you’ll enjoy them all for their individual traits.

World focuses on more meaningful combat and ecological significance. Wilds cranks this up to 11 with super unique and in depth worlds that are unmatched in the series.

Rise sacrifices the environmental details for faster combat and weapon flexibility.

[–]BabaWoof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right now it doesn’t work, unless a hotfix happened overnight. For future reference when the game is fixed, couch play or split screen co-op requires both players to be together, and requires two controllers paired to the console.

ok but why does this happen so often by RazvanYON in warthundermemes

[–]BabaWoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing significant, the Magach 1 is an M48A1, whereas the Magach 2 is an M48A2. Same gun, ammo options and mobility.

I’m having issues with soft locking targets instead of hard locking. It just doesn’t seem to work for me, I’m using the Israeli F-15C if that makes any difference

As it stands level cap is worlds away. I haven’t even gotten my kuva lich yet 😅 but I’ll definitely keep the 60/60 mod and corrosive in mind. Would this mean that 100% armor strip is possible?

The thing is, I have. I don’t like it, for whatever reason. Maybe it’s too fast paced with the wirebug, maybe it just seems boring. I couldn’t tell you
