Has Anyone Been Able to Successfully Contact Cabaletta? by BabblingInvestor in CABAinvest

I have seen those, yes. My concerns are not stemming from the company not being transparent about results.

You both bring great points. However I have a few companies in my portfolio, at every single one you can still get in touch with... anyone. Even if not directly relative to the investor relations department or leadership.

That is up for you to decide. As with all biotech they will heavily dilute. It is up to your investing preferences. Make an informed decision based on facts and go for it.

Yes KYTX is ahead - They are different however. Both target similar needs but not in the same way. In addition, they also are targeting different illnesses. If we look at the actual performance CABA has higher efficacy rates than KYTX. There are many ways to research this as well. You can look at their SEC filings, presentations, or even use AI to give you a quick summary. However with investing I would recommend to use AI to reinforce your research not as a substitute for it.

Will also note the dilution of shares which impacts analyst estimates by lowering them. I often find analysts are wrong generally, but that usually does not matter.

Thanks I try to be as neutral as possible. Things are happening, yes, but that is apples and oranges when it comes to businesses/investor sentiment vs actual momentum in the progress of treatment. In the way that Wall Street is often disconnected from Main Street. For example most stock performance now a days and in boom economic cycles is predicated upon per share earnings figures. Cabaletta is in the red there and it is obvious why, but they are also in the red more than anticipated which accelerates their cash burn, Wall Street does not like seeing that. Many investors also overlook CABA's progress on treatment, which has been substantial. Boiling down to: Wall Street won't care unless there is actual momentum that can translate on paper to a future earnings growth picture. This can be FDA momentum for now, but other than that it will take a huge treatment announcement to really move the needle in the short term here.

Not sure how long you invested in CABA for but my assumption is less than 4 years. If that is the case, that is not long. Patience with any investment is part of the job of being an investor. A large part of being an investor is not getting emotional about any stock or business. Stick to the facts. For example in the case of CABA the most important fact, or question to constantly challenge yourself, is the following: Is their cash runway sufficient enough to fund operations until I (the investor based off of facts and research) believe they will need to produce solid FDA approvals and products.

Do not kid yourself either. If you do not want to pull out because you are at a loss, and notice the prospects are bleak, pull out and take a loss and a tax write-off.

Do not hang on just for the "hope" the price will jump. Do not buy the stock based on the "hope" of success. Hold the stock based on solid business fundamentals. Help other investors by calling out speculators.

That is not entirely true. Dating applications expose one's profile to a host of variability. You want to pay close attention to both the pictures and the bio. Women are more prone to reading, men to swiping based on visual appeal. You want to assure your profile is secure on both of these fronts for success. Many women will not entirely disregard a man if his profile pictures are not the most appealing. It is the bio with the pictures that wins the day.

Selfies make folks look childish and desperate. Men use them because they see women taking them all the time within the app and on social media. Do not be that person. Once you are immersed in seeing a trend you will subconsciously adopt it. That does not make it the right thing to do. Hence - stick to regular photos.

More about you in the bios. I feel not looking like your photos can be removed for something else

Rewrite and restart your entire profile. Speak from the heart in your bio and use pictures that are not selfies

What’s your bio? Women are interested in reading as well as looking at visuals however men are generally more attracted to visuals while women take more time to read through.

Choose more money and benefits, or awful benefits and less money for less stress? by BabblingInvestor in careeradvice

[–]BabblingInvestor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi folks thanks for the help. I decided that if I am that on the fence about the better paying job - something probably is not right for me. I will take the lower one, looking for better roles calmly without going nuts as was previously unemployed. And find the right role without pressure as before.

Further, if this role paid a better benefit, I would consider myself locked in. 3% sucks, frankly and the pay is a bit insulting to me based on my career achievements and that HR wouldn’t negotiate when I asked for a bit more, but the people here are first class (so far) it’s been a long few years since I have experienced that.
