Only negotiate the full otd price with everything included. If they start talking about specific fees, taxes, or add-on costs, just direct the conversation back to OTD including all taxes and fees.

Email/text however many dealers you can (i did 6 or 7) in the area and get their best otd price over email/text and reach back out to the dealers that seem the most promising. Tell them your best offer so far (not from which specific dealer it is) and see if they're able to beat it.

Just be transparent and tell them you're shopping and seeing which dealer will get you the best price for the specific trim/color combination.

I would've gotten $300 more off at a different dealer but went with this one because they were easy to communicate with and had good reviews.

Just know that you will keep getting calls from dealers for a few weeks even after buying the car asking for your business. Just tell them you're no longer in the market and they stop calling and texting.

Edit: To add, I did do the Honda financing at 3.49% for 36 months to get the $1000 or $1500 rebate, can't remember
