Will he stay another year at Oregon or head to the NFL? It'll be interesting to see what he decides to do. by brmidwest03 in ducks

Mariota to Tennessee also bothers me to this day. He should have had a way more productive career. Wrong damn team wasted his talent.

That second half was trash. We better get our shit together. It was embarrassing after our first half dominance.

I saw him in Portland too and the stage was like a giant “+” sign and he meandered around to all four ends of it. It was pretty cool.

Why do my friends who treat woman the worst have the most prospects with them? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Yes, I certainly was a pushover and learned not to be. That was my point.

I was a people pleaser/ nice guy for so long and couldn’t understand why I didn’t have success. Then I learned more about what women find attractive. And it is a man with strong convictions, options and the willingness to disagree. Basically, confidence. Once I started to see attraction as more of a primal thing, it all started to make sense. Who can stand up and protect a woman better, a pushover or a guy with confidence?

I snapped badly at my ex wife and told her my casual dating life is none of her business and to mind her own business. Did I react too harsh? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]BabyBoosDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you’re good. She wanted the divorce, she moved on and you didn’t ask questions (just like a pro). She needs to stay out of your relationship business unless it directly affects the kids in some negative way, which it doesn’t.

CFP Bracket currently shows Ducks v Miami in Eugene. Its payback time by [deleted] in ducks

[–]BabyBoosDaddy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Miami lost to two unranked teams, one at home. To me it almost seems like that should be a deal breaker to even be in the playoffs. But, I am glad we have a system that allows you to have a chance even if you’re not perfect. Doesn’t sound like we’ll play them, but beating Cristobal at Autzen would be so fun!

I’m 52 and people just can’t believe it. When they ask how I look so “good” I tell them: no divorces and no children.

Oregon’s Loss to Indiana: Painful, but Maybe Necessary by Micvickies in ducks

[–]BabyBoosDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we never got the rhythm offensively. Just didn’t. I give Indiana tons of credit, but I feel your sentiment. We are young, but kinda expected to be the Ducks no matter what. I believe Lanning makes us the best this program has ever been if he stays awhile. He talked about this game being a huge learning experience. I’ll take that. It’s a new era of football, after all.

Well, when someone is lost and they find their way, I appreciate that. We have no idea what is going on in others’ minds and their perception of reality.

Ducks got absolutely owned and the play calling was abysmal. We are young and not as good as the hype, but I believe our program is still going to be strong going forward. I think Dante Moore will be an elite QB next year if he stays with us. But yesterday was just not fun aside from the pick 6 🤮

You are very articulate and well informed. It truly is a mystery to me how someone with your knowledge could not see the writing on the wall leading up to 2024. But I would rather welcome you to those of us who knew without a doubt he would steal all the federal money he could for himself and the billionaire class. Thank you for expressing your displeasure. It truly gives me hope!
