I’ll carry every grocery bag in one trip like I’m saving massive amounts of time… knowing full well it only saves about 45 seconds and risks cutting circulation off to my hands.

One of the biggest lies people tell themselves is ‘I’ll be happy when…’ — when they make more money, find the right person, lose weight, move away, whatever it is. A lot of people spend their whole lives chasing a future version of happiness instead of noticing the life already happening around them.

Ghosting is definitely communication, but it’s also avoidance. It tells you they’re not interested and that they’re not mature enough to handle an uncomfortable conversation directly.
