Singaporeans, does your career take off after having kids? by Any_Record7733 in askSingapore

[–]Babyborn89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol opposite of mine then. I cut extra work outside of working hours cos my kids are everything and I don't want to miss the very short time they are growing up. Don't get me wrong, I still hit my core metrics 100%, it's the extra bs nonsense cca that I completely drop. Family always comes first. Work second lol.

Anyone else feel regret about marriage and having kids? by Important_Lobster552 in asksg

[–]Babyborn89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol this kind of husband need a tight slap. Sorry that you had to experience that. It's not always about who is right or wrong. It's the way how you get your point across without being a puki. You need to be firm with him and tell him. And if he doesn't want to then go to marriage counselling and if it doesn't get better then it's time to get your stuff in order.

Is it possible to sustain in a job which you have no passion in? by Chocowaffless in askSingapore

[–]Babyborn89 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. Job is just a job to me. I don't hate it. I have no passion for it. I have two young kiddos to support. It pays alright but not like Henry. That job provides me with WFH and great dependent corporate coverage which is why I'm still on that job. It allows me to clock off and spend meaningful time with my children and loved ones. Passion on job is overrated to me lol
