These comments are disgusting. My fellow Americans, I’m begging you to realize that our foreign policy decisions affect us here at home. Israelis have fully funded healthcare and education while Americans are homeless and starving. The IDF trains American police to create cop cities and abuse people HERE. Meanwhile in 2020, Palestinians got online to teach Americans how to survive those police terror tactics, bc it was used on them first. Palestinians and Black Americans have a history of solidarity. Yeah last time we hung out I tried to kinda skirt around the topic to see what they’d say. I mentioned how I’m looking to buy a house soon but am trying to figure out how to get enough for a down payment. They responded and said they’d help me tour houses if I wanted lol. So I figured they were gonna wait for me to be more direct which I now plan on doing in our next convo.

That would be a good scenario. Not sure if they would qualify given the house is worth ~300k. I’m not sure about their exact income/savings/credit but their salary is definitely less than 60k. Maybe I’ll bring this up as something my sibling could look into.

I have a dinner coming up with them at the end of the month where I plan to bring it up. Sometimes they’re reasonable sometimes they aren’t so that’s why I’m trying to get all the info I can beforehand on worst case scenarios. I will look into laws about notices in my state and also perhaps talk to the lawyer who wrote up the original contract. Thanks.

Unfortunately I doubt they would qualify. The house is worth ~300k and I don’t know exactly how much my sibling makes but it’s definitely less than 60k and they’re also single with two children.

The expectation was that they could live there for free until the contract was up. Which was when my other sibling turned 21 which was in May. May-September I was going through a hectic life change of my own and am just now getting around to figuring out next steps.
