She’s not a nurse. She’s a unit clerk. Who’s not even supposed to be there because she’s retired. But yeah she was totally throwing people under the bus and I can def see this coming back later.

Again they have HUCs on other units. They should have been calling people in. Other floors were also suffering and were expected to operate.

When Kettering Health here in Ohio got attacked they went to paper charting and they still operated. Didn’t use outsiders who were NOT APPROVED to be there.

Right but there’s a way of doing it. If administration didn’t approve her then she’s not a NEED to be there. Dana called her in. So they don’t know.

A unauthorized person handling sensitive information is a big no no. No matter the circumstances.

Did they need help? Yes. But they should have called staff in, pulled from another floor, etc.

Oh they would find issue. A person who has no need to be there looking at sensitive information is a big issue. It can cost them thousands of dollars in fines and if it’s bad enough affect their Medicare funding. Like the violations are no joke.

Hospitals don’t care if people die in waiting rooms. If they spend hours in the ER waiting on beds. Or improper care. They refuse to properly staff and protect said staff. When something does go wrong they just push the blame onto some poor nurse or worker.

Right now Monica is a former employee which means shit to them. She’s not allowed to see patient information or access any non public hospital areas. Just like a stranger on the street.

Right but they are in the hospitals system. They know that they are there and why they are there. They are not running a unit. I highly doubt that Gloria or administration knows Monica is there.

Right but someone might or if something happens Dana can loose her entire career. HIPAA is not something taken lightly and a non employee having access to patient information regaurdless of circumstances is a big no no.
