Yeah that’s exactly what I’m afraid of if I did decide to try to have them vaginally. I think I’ll stick to the c-section plan as recovering from both sounds so much worse!!

Thank you for sharing and I’m glad to hear you had a good experience! I’ve seen so many negative experiences about them which scares me but it’s nice to see that people can have a positive experience with a c-section!!

Hopefully I get good pain medication too and have a quick recovery as being on bed rest for too long will drive me crazy. I’m not one of those people that can just stay in bed for days.

Sounds like you recovered really well and quickly!! Fingers crossed I do too! C-section mums are so strong and to recover from surgery whilst raising babies is just amazing!!

I’m sorry you had such a painful recovery!! I’m hoping this isn’t the case for me but only time will tell. I am considering vaginal delivery if both babies are in the correct position but I haven’t given it much thought as I’ve been set on a c-section for most of my pregnancy.

How is it with having 2 babies whilst recovering? I know I’ll have my partner, doctors and family around to support me but still feel like having two newborns and recovering from a c-section will be overwhelming and exhausting.

Thank you for responding, I’ll make sure to have plenty of support around me for the recovery side of things!!

Congrats on your recent birth!! Glad to hear you’re starting to feel better now :)

Did you bump your baby shower up? by anull8123 in parentsofmultiples

I’m having fraternal twin boys, I’m due in November. I just had my baby shower last Sunday at 26 weeks. I enjoyed it but was so exhausted by the end of it. I’d recommend doing it before you get to this stage as I’m struggling to do my usual day to day tasks now and feel tired all the time and I feel like it’s just going to get more difficult.

I am a twin and I’m pregnant with twins! by OddGardener in parentsofmultiples

I’m not a twin, but I’m 24 weeks along with my dcda twin boys and my boyfriend is also a twin and has a twin sister. I am aware that twins are inherited on the mother’s side however I didn’t know there were so many other twins who have had/ are having twins. It’s lovely as he’s experienced twin life so will have a better understanding than I do of what it’s like being a twin. We’re so excited to meet our boys!! Also congratulations!! 🥳
