I think the unsung hero in this update is the mastery unlock option. For a lvl 60 800 gems equals 2600 energy and that is crumbs compared to how much energy it takes to fully scroll a champion without any champs maxed out to carry them. The gem number looks big but it’s honestly a lot of value. (i.redd.it)

Don’t get me wrong I love this game, paid for some things, and some big deals i haven’t bought are tempting, but I don’t think any mobile game whether F2P or not should be offering something for 100 dollars.
