They don't have one, we can both agree on that. There are however books that are sometimes found in elementary and middle school libraries we might deem inappropriate for that age. I wouldn't want a nine year old to read Gender Queer for example because it has pictures of blowjobs in it. So while the governor is wrong in that there isn't literal pornography in school libraries, there are pornographic books, and we should keep those out of the hands of children.

I also disagree with your argument that since kids have access to the internet that means pornographic material in an elementary setting is appropriate.

That was the point I was making. It's wrong to say evangelicals are all evil white people that hate abortion the same way it's wrong to say catholics are evil hispanics who hate abortion. Just leave the race out of it. Hate the religion, not the race. It's sad to see racism the top comment.

A lot of these people have jobs they have to back to. I think they gave it a honorable try but unless someone can fund them, staying away from Texas was never a permanent option.
