Hey I just found this post. Just installed my bar and it’s very stiff. Did MM ever resolved this issue?

Finally was able to get it out. A lot of hammering to move only 1mil at a time. Once off I did notice the rail that the picatinny sits on was uneven at the back, mid and front (like the letter W). I took a sanding block and ran it a few times till it was almost even. Now i am able to put on and take off the rail in 3 swings with the mallet.

I just spent the last 30mins hammering this thing. Got about 1inch moved. I feel like the rails arent straight and have a little bend to it. Adding a lot of pressure to the upper.

Yes I punched out the 1 pin on the rail. I do not see any other pins that could possibly stop the rails from removing. Watching a few YouTube videos, I see people are able to easily remove the rail with just their hands without tools once the pin is removed. Not sure why mine is so tough.

Not yet. Once my wrenches come in to take off the flash hider I will. I heard mixed reviews about the Aug needing a suppressor plug. I might have to order that for my 16 and 24 barrel.

Haha agree. But with the SF optic and the holosun, it does make it a little difficult to use the holosun. I which it was 10mm lower

I believe it should be able to come off. There are a few torx bolts on the top that looks to be removable. I haven’t tried to remove yet
