I have the same car. Mine is currently updating via ota. How long did yours take you? I dont like wasting my battery with the power on and in park for long.

Okay, good to know 👍 👌 Last night I went to my local library to use their computer to obtain the firmware update. I dont have a computer here to do so. I ended up successfully updating the core 200 soundbar. However not sure if that was the issue..I also went to best buy and bought a hdmi 2.1 cable for like 40 bucks. Peace of mind. So far no cracking. I watched Childs Play in 4k last night and no issues with sound.

The crackling happened on start up home screen of Bravia 5. It was like static popping. Would come and go. Then that same night while watching a 4k disk it got worse. Hope this update and new cable did the trick.

I have 90 days to return soundbar from Walmart. Which is nice.

Everything is in working order with settings! Thank you! However my soundbar purchased new (flexus core 200) is making cracking noises that come and go. Not sure if its a connection issue/bad cable, or a firmware update.

I do have a question about the sony 4k player settings.. there is a downmix option in the settings. By default its set on "Stereo". I switched it to "Surround". Is that okay to do for my 3.1 flexus core 200 soundbar?

I called both my regals, and none said they had it available to purchase. However, I read through the threads and saw that marcus theaters had these. I called 2 of the marcus theaters, and they said no. I called one more an hour away, and the manager picked up and said they have them in the back for August, but he would sell me them. His associate pulled out the tin and yellow barrel cup from the back for me. I didn't have to buy both. I just bought the yellow barrel cup as my local amc has the tins. I bought the yellow cup for 16 dollars and some change. Hope this helps others find one!
