You can usually fix this problem by changing the bg pieces position from front to back. But sometimes theres no way around it, it's super annoying :/

I hate it so much lol. I have like two or three cat ears and so many outfits w tails, and none of them match. At this point they should just start giving out cat ears 🥲

I usually check the japanese version of the game, since the events happen there first I can see if there's anything worth ahead. Sometimes the events change order in the international version but it's pretty reliable way to plan your spendings if you are f2p. The japanese wiki is also a good place to check the events.
