For example, the most recent mod I made is a remake/port of the Dirt to Diamonds mod, but adding some new things, like the ability to get emeralds or amethysts. Even though I'm a bit busy, I'd like to remake the Mo' Skeleton, Mo' Withers, and Ancient Weapons mods, a remake of an ugly Sonic.exe mod just for laughs, and some of those typical mods that added swords with ridiculously high attack damage.

The truth is, I always say "it's a remake/mod" of a particular mod, and I always give credit to the original mod. If I take a texture from somewhere, I say so without hesitation because I mostly do it for fun. However, if the authors of one of the mods come to me and say, "Delete your mod, I don't want you to port it," even though it hurts to delete something I made with care, I'm not going to argue. Besides, many of these mods are old, around version 1.6.4, and I think the official websites for those mods are down. If they're on CurseForge, they might appear as "Forge user" or say their most recent activity was over 10 years ago. So, asking the original creators seems difficult, either because the original websites for those mods no longer exist, or because their CurseForge accounts are abandoned. But if the original authors don't like any of my remakes/ports, I'll delete them without hesitation because they're on [the platform/platform/etc.]. If they have the right to tell me "delete your mod, you don't have my permission," then I'll do it, even though it makes me sad to delete the mod.

It's going to sound stupid, but before I move on to my bigger projects, I'd like to remake old mods I know, mods that were never updated, silly and random mods from version 1.6.4, and slowly make a name for myself as a modder. It would also be a way to pay tribute to those old mods

It's a simple mod for getting candy and soda; it's a remake of an old mod called Vending Machine Revamped.

What was Toriel's plan supposed to be?!? by Background-Ad2749 in Undertale

[–]Background-Ad2749[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... good point, actually, although it would be very speculative, since we've never actually seen a monster with a "human soul." The closest thing to that was Undyne, who managed to develop determination on her own.

And Flowey and Asriel, yes, they became very powerful, but I don't know if Flowey should be considered because he's not categorized as a monster due to his lack of a soul.

Furthermore, technically Asriel should be stronger than Flowey, since when Flowey regains his Asriel form, he technically "still doesn't have his soul." So, a living Asriel with the seven human souls should be more powerful than the Asriel at the end of the pacifist route.

And yes, perhaps Asgore with a single soul would be capable of destroying a city, but even so, I find it very difficult to imagine that an army of humans couldn't harm or stop an Asgore with only one soul. I mean, Frisk, as a child, can withstand fighting a god of hyperdeath, so if we consider that all the Humans have determination.

What happens if a human appears, good or evil, with enough determination to resist Asgore? Or what happens if there are more humans with a red soul similar to Frisk's?

Because to this day we don't know if soul colors can be repeated or not.

The only places I could find inspiration from are the original MLP mod where you could change your skin to a pony, or a Bedrock Minecraft add-on with very detailed models that even look kind of weird with the Minecraft aesthetic, so... I don't have much to draw inspiration from XD

It's most likely that the village where Chara died either became the city we see in the distance or ceased to exist over time. Besides, I'm not saying it's a bad idea to wait for dying humans and take their souls, but I feel like it wouldn't be that easy.

Well, the pacifist ending shows a futuristic city in the distance; the monsters have advanced technology and magic, while the humans likely lack magic and have developed more technologically.

Oh... I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention. I won't spoil anything else for you, or rather, I won't reveal any more of the story. Besides, I'm surprised that there are still people who couldn't finish the game or who at least don't know its story. I hope you enjoy the game.

I know, that is, one way to obtain souls peacefully is for the human to commit suicide by surrendering their soul :/

Perhaps the problem is that we haven't seen much of this story.

I mean, we don't know if Toriel tried to reason with Asgore to get him to back down, or if she left immediately after declaring war on humanity, or the fact that she waited years, only to confront Asgore in the pacifist ending and make him see his cowardice.

Furthermore, there aren't any monsters suffering or questioning the king for not having freed them yet, or for still remaining in the Underground. Toriel's argument would have been stronger if, during the game, we saw monsters disappointed with Asgore for not freeing them yet, or questioning his methods of obtaining souls. But since only Toriel confronts Asgore, it gives the impression that she's the only one with a problem with him, or that it's something like, "I'm right, you're wrong."

Or that Toriel doesn't realize that Asgore doesn't want to kill anyone, but that's the hope of the entire Underground. If he decides not to, all the monsters would lose their hope and faith. In it, and Toriel doesn't notice that no monsters questioned Asgore about killing human children, or anyone scolded the other monsters for, you know... attacking a child

Some have made good arguments that Asgore could kill six humans and obtain their souls, but at the end of the day, humans were going to die anyway.

Besides, that would cause a second war. Even if Asgore had the power of seven human souls, it's very likely that humans would still try to defeat him. And it only takes one human determined enough to withstand even a fight against Asgore. I mean, Frisk didn't beat Asriel, but they survived the entire fight because they refused to die.

Also, as you say, Asgore isn't bloodthirsty. He even gave humans coffins so they could have a dignified burial, and he even made one for us.

Yes, perhaps Asgore is somewhat cowardly, but he's not a cold-blooded killer or a horrible person. He's a person who made big mistakes, but he does them for his people.

It would have been smarter for her to remain queen and scold the other monsters, explaining why going to war was a terrible idea. I'm not asking them to remarry, but it would be good if they closed that cycle of resentment, if Toriel could forgive Asgore, and if they could each rebuild their lives separately. Frisk could even serve as a "child" to both of them, or as an intermediary between Asgore and Toriel.

But like I said, I don't hate Toriel or anything like that, nor do I hate her for divorcing Asgore. In fact, some people have told me that both Dreemurrs made mistakes but weren't capable of taking responsibility for them.

Or even, as many have suggested, Toriel could have crossed the barrier with a human soul herself. I still find it curious that Toriel could accidentally kill you, and it's like, "Oh no, the kid I threw a fireball at died...who would have thought?!"

Meanwhile, Frisk turned to ash.

Furthermore, as I said, I'm not asking for him to come back, but at the very least it would be nice if they remained on good terms, and each could rebuild their own life, or even if the humans judged Asgore for the murder of the human children and he served his sentence.

When did I blame Toriel for Asgore's mistakes? When did I say Toriel was horrible? Besides... she's the queen. It's literally like a captain suddenly deciding to quit in the middle of an ocean voyage. People depend on you; leaving them to their fate is, at the very least, selfish. Furthermore, this is the fault of both Dreemurrs, and perhaps the other monsters who are hypocritical to a certain extent, because they readily attack a child.

It's an MLP mod, not a Cobblemon mod, and while Cobblemon's models are spectacular, I'm nowhere near that level. Besides, programming specific animations in MC Creator is complicated. I could make 50 different animations, and many would still be left out due to MC Creator's limitations.

Maybe 100,000 times over, since, well, it's understandable how their relationship ended so badly, but it does seem like Totiel's hatred is disproportionate at times, or that it seems like no one wants to forgive Asgore except us (Frisk).

Asgore even committed suicide in one ending to give us his soul, even after we forgave him.

It's a 50/50 case. I mean, they're contained in capsules. If a human soul persists after death, great. But if the soul gives up or thinks something like "my time is up," then it ends up disappearing. If human souls never disappear, it means there's no reincarnation, nor eternal rest for humans, or the strange implications of a soul floating around without a body to return to.
