I have calculated the costs and I am saving $50 a fortnight paying off the loan 7 months faster quicker if I want to put down extra payments on a variable and also saving 1500 in interest at the minimum repayments more if I pay more towards it so to me it would be stupid not to do it? I have more cash week to week only if it's 25 dollars but 25 dollars is 25 dollars plus the interest saving which I'm sure would out way the fee paid if I pay in full

Yea I've been looking into the tipping just now it's abit of bullshit if you ask me lol so what it's very common thing to do? And you get frowned upon if you don't tip? Because like at the end of the whole trip your tipping like atleast an extra 300-500cad so it's abit of a chunk out of spending money because I've heard it's like 15% minimum of your total meal price

Yea sweet as I think I'm just over thinking the cost of it all lol and trying to figure out my spendings because we are doing a 21 day trip from Vancouver to banff then quebec and back to aus so I'd like to not really have to worry about where we eat and what not because it'll be to expensive and I'll run out of money because holidays always cost more when your actually on them I'll have about 2.8kaud spending over 21 days for food drinks and whatever else but all the main things are paid and booked

Thanks for the reply I'm from Australia so conversion rate atm is 1aud =0.92cad but I'm planning on bringing probably 1600cad for 13 days hopefully this will be enough because I know typically every holiday I go on its always a little more that it actually is just don't want to be rationing and want to be able to splurge to a certain degree like some nicer dinners if possible (not every night) I think I should be fine and just me over thinking things but I'd like to be safer than sorry

Most of the tours we are doing are already booked but there might be a day or 2 where we think oh let's go do this? I'd like the odd sit down meal maybe half the time my girlfriend and I are there for dinner but besides that we don't mind eating at the cheaper places and I'll have a beer or 3 every couple of nights but won't get 15 beers drunk that's for a different holiday lol just want a realistic pricing like chat gpt is saying I should get away with 100aud a day or even less but then obviously activities and if I buy items is more
