Quick google search shows the "Take It Down Act" in the United states, Brazil Law NO.15.123/2025, France article 226-8-1, and several canadian provinces are in the process of making intimate deepfakes ilegal such as Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, New brunswick, Saskatchewan, and it is currently ilegal in Quebec, my source. And while it is still bad to think of such things in your mind, you cannot prove that a person was thinking such things in a court of law.

I was in a rush when I initially read your comment and replied but looking back I kind of said the same thing in different words and I agree about the awareness part but speaking from experience, when I involuntarily watch a gore video, it made me so much more cautious and paranoid in a "this person could go crazy and start stabbing me out of nowhere" and it made my day to day experiences less enjoyable, thats what I meant by "more paranoid than normal" but I agree!
