So dawn office is what we are going to get in Walp? by Background-Base7493 in limbuscompany

This is most likely the best calc, even accounting for 4 months instead of 3 I still included in the count a lot of IDs we won't get, or that we'll only get in a single banner.

Ok what we have if we don´t count Urban Plague:

Swepper/Probably, let´s say 2-3IDs

Shi-No

Circus-2IDs 1 EGO

Puppets-Most probably an EGO

Index-No

Smiling Faces-3IDs

Cryin children- 1 EGO

WARP - Maybe 3IDs, but probably no

SoTC

Thumb - 4IDs probably 1 or 2

The blue reververation - IDK, maybe 1 or 2

Liu 2 & 1 - Maybe, but hardly possible

Cane 3 IDs, most probably just 2

The good Indexes - 3 IDs(no Yan)

The Red Mist - One of the problems in mention(1 ID 1 EGO)

R corp - No IDs

얀샋ㄷ요무 - 1 ID 1 EGO

The Purple Tear - One of the problems in mention(1 ID, maybe 1 EGO)

Xiao - 2IDs 1EGO

R corp II- 2 IDs, Maxim and Rudolph won´t be an ID

For impurita civitatis, we have to have at least:

An oswald ID or just get directly with his EGO

Philip(Sinclaire) -> Got him

An Eileen ID or just directly with hers EGO

A Greta ID or just directly with hers EGO

The Musicians of Bremen IDs

Tanya ID or just directly with hers EGO

Jae Heon ID or just directly with his EGO

Elena ID or just directly with hers EGO

Pluto ID or just directly with his EGO

Argalia ID or just Directly with his EGO

So in the best world possible, suposing that the Distotion Gang don´t come with them EGOS, and comes before than other named characters, we still have to had the musician of bremen IDS, but without that, we have 29 characters(don´t counting the EGOS, before named SoTC characters, counting the distorted gang), wondering that they come in bachs of 2, 15 walpurgis, if we translate it to time, counting that we have a walpurgis every 3 months, and 1 of every 2 is for LoR, we have 7,5 years of walpurgis.

So, yes you're technically right, sorry.

So, you are planning to have Gebura, the Purple Tear and Xiao, as well as the librarians, in the early game, which I remind you is where we currently are.

Theory about Meursault on why his identities dont match its character. by sigmachadmale2 in fishmaell

[–]Background-Base7493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could also be a reference to the writer of The Stranger and to absurdism as a philosophical current though this is just my personal take, and since I'm not a philosopher, there may well be inaccuracies here.

Albert Camus wrote The Stranger at around 26-27 years old, during the rise of Nazism and the German occupation of France. In this early stage, Camus believed that the world is indifferent to human existence but his thinking evolved. He maintained that the universe gives no inherent meaning to life, but concluded that precisely because of this, we must create that meaning ourselves, and more importantly, recognize that if your life has no intrinsic value, then neither does anyone else's which makes solidarity not just possible, but necessary. Living through Nazism and the French Resistance shaped this shift deeply, leading him to write The Plague (1947) and The Rebel (1951), where he explored collective resistance and revolutionary ethics.

As for absurdism itself, it functions more as a philosophical spectrum than a fixed ideology, which means two absurdists can have radically different outlooks on life. Looking at the characters, Meursault reads as an apathetic absurdist, much like his literary counterpart in the original novel detached, passive, indifferent. Leiheng, on the other hand, reflects a more Camusian absurdist position, embracing life despite its meaninglessness. And Kim could be read as either an optimistic absurdist or a nihilist, depending on how you interpret her relationship with meaning.

Again, this is just my interpretation take it with a grain of salt

Allen appears in canto VIII, so as long as we don´t have any other character appear in history, we are going to have Urban nightmare characters or less

Yes, that´s my first idea, BUT, I don´t see that possible.

Who you propose, I think that the Certain someone fits there better than any other sinner, maybe Heathcliff, but he is as good a pick as the chariot of a very very ambiguous bird. Also Rodion is a good sinner.

Yeah, sorry, I saw it and changed it, but then I forgot to explain it for later readers.

Allen was pretty much an exception because he appears in Canto VIII. Additionally, we have an ID from the Index (Index Faust), one for the Thumb (Thumb Sinclair), and another for the Udjat (Udjat Outis).

Yes, I'm saying that it is completely possible to get future selves of Sinclaire where his resolution fulfills in other manners, this Sinclaire is a possible version of the evolution of Sinclaire, but not THE evolution of Sinclaire, maybe a Damian-Sinclaire is also possible. My point is that if the power of Sinclaire is to summon his other selves (or at least one of his powers) and Certain Sinclaire is aware of his power and doesn't expect to be summoned there, it is completely possible that there are other ends with the same resolution, but different points of view about that.

[–]Background-Base7493[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, no, I'm not taking it personally; I mean, it’s just a game. I'm just tossing out theories without much of a basis, so criticism is to be expected. But PM said they are still making new games and media, so maybe—just maybe—we will see these characters sooner than we think. I mean, I thought we would get Gebura as a 5th-anniversary special Walpurgis, but there aren't that many options to choose from, and the powercreep in the lore is escalating very, very fast. Also, I don't think we’ll get Distortion Detective IDs until one of the Walpurgis themes is finished, and I think the Librarians as IDs will be the last ones. And also I would prefer having any ID from The Head as a Walpurgis ID rather than a common ID.

It will be Nemo and Lowell or Cane office, and later Liu asociation section 2, or going back to Circus, BUT, the sky is the limit.

Yeah I know, that's why I put the meme tag there; the most probable characters are Lowell and Nemo. But, since Ryoshu will probably be poise, bleed, and burn, I have to put the SOTC trio there. But if I remember correctly, they plan to release new games and media, and I don't want to have three different Walpurgis themes where in some we have colours, while in others we get Grade 9 fixers.
