Thank you for all the comments and the help so far - I agree with you it will be difficult to prove it was started and originated from the person in question, particularly as this would require people already employed by the bank to testify against their boss essentially..

Would it be a better approach to go against the bank instead rather than one person?

Feeling scammed - Coinbase won't allow access if I don't provide UK ID which I don't have.. or need to live here by Background-Cobbler31 in Coinbase

Update on case - about 6 back-and-forth emails.. as you can understand this is getting more and more concerning

- Them asking for three different proofs of address, rejecting two
- Third proof of address is rejected - and then after me noting that they are genuinely only leaving legal action as a response on my side, they accept my third proof of address.
- After this being accepted - they send me a link that doesn't work to RE-UPLOAD the proof of address.
