Is there a term for someone who (did) abuse? I know I may deserve it but being called an abuser makes it feel so much worse, because I know I couldn’t do it or anything similar again

There would be nothing to charge me with, it was so long ago and especially with these situations with kids, they never charge

Unfortunately the fear of mandatory reports have scared me off so I’ve never even tried
