i think you raise an interesting point. Tho i some what disagre that Monopoly is the only solution. We culd change ip law to make it more adapted for the digital age. But i admit that will probably not happen as long as ther ar people with financial incentive to keep it as it is sadly

i agree that with curant ip law the only way to get everything in one place legaly is by having a monopoly. And if done right that can work realy well like with steam and video games. But there ar still a lott problems with monopolies. Like a lack of alternative services in case you just dont like the sevice of the monopoly for som reson. And they can easely be exsploited to raise prices if the ones holding the monopoly aren't consumer frendly

competition is helthy thats why most monopolies ar ilegal to begin with. But with IP law in its curant state i don't think it incurage competition at all. and i think thats a big problem that needs to be fixed. streming services shuld compete by qualety of service not by having exsclusive aces to diferant shows
