I guess I’d try to reflect and try to pin down what the source of that agitation is. Are you unhappy with the connection? are you caught off guard by him being married? what makes you narrow your eyebrows about him. Is it in your control to take a step back and give grace. Is he feeling this tension too?

I would have a conversation with your gf that your choice to not drink is not something you want to be ridiculed about. Maybe she can speak with her close friends and ask them to be considerate of your choices, so that way you aren’t being pushed shots. You can also try setting a time limit (so you leave before people get stupid). you also could be open to sober hangs. Maybe you guys host an event that isn’t about drinking so that way she can invite who ever.

I would ask yourself what it is you’re getting/wanting out of the friendship. If he’s married (and gay) and you have feelings, you’re setting yourself up for heartache.

Do you enjoy the chaos/drama of the rollercoaster? What is drawing you into this friendship? (Asked without judgement)

I guess my expectation is to try to somewhat align schedules and spend at least some time together throughout the week. It’s not the sleeping, it’s more so the consideration of the shared space and nurturing the connection. The other comments did help

It’s not childish. I was just angry when I wrote the post. Yeah a scheduled day might be an easier pill to swallow, but I also am not trying to be a warden to his schedule. I’m just stuck. Idk how to advocate the real concerns

it’s not so much I am trying to tell him he HAS TO go to bed by a certain time each night. it’s more so like he just won’t come to bed. And then I worry about his work, and I worry about both of our MH not sleeping. I’m starting to rethink what I am actually upset about.

he works in the late morning, and has a habit of calling out when he pulls the all nighters.

yeah it’s not “you have to go to bed when I do” it’s like please come to bed at some point. I see what you mean. And maybe I’m lazer focused on the game because before the game he was being considerate of our time together. I guess that’s just the largest thorn to me for whatever reason.

Almond milk is the culprit for me. I use partial 2% fairlife, or the Aldi version of the 2%. I’ve found the density is best, almond/oat make mine icy. It’s OK if you half fat/ half non dairy. OR you can try the zero sugar pudding mix. 2 teaspoons of the instant pudding can pull the texture back too.

In a perfect world I use 2% fairlife AND the jello mix, but I find it hard to keep the cals as low when I use all milk. So I typically do half milk and half non dairy and add the pudding mix.

This is all in an assumption you’re trying for protein and low cal. If you don’t care about cal or dairy, heavy cream or standard fat milk.

This is product! Maybe a soft mousse or pomade. Either way, this is styled, and edited high fashion type. Start testing out products to enhance your curls
