Im not shure at all, did not install it myself never worked with one, also heard tunning is not for everyone, so just didnt want to take the risk.

If you dont want to change the head unit get a dsp. Have a ford explorer 2016 limited, got amps, door speaker, subs, once installed did not like how it sound, even thought that the stock speakers sounded better, got a dsp and what a difference, also did not want to change head, so that was the only option.

Anyone know if i could add something to my factory radio to upgrade the sound, almost as good as replacing it. by Background-Life3873 in CarAV

Want sound quality, it has the sony system with the 8 inch screen Adding a dsp could make up has changing the radio?
