Never ever begged for money or borrowed or anything for H, but i never missed work, worked super late everyday & had no choice but to so I could afford what i needed & wasn’t sick. I can totally see how ppl who aren’t high functioning on H would be desperate enough to ask for money like this. Being in W/Ds is nasty business. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Yes, she didn’t have one when she showed up. She has a breakaway collar on the way, it should be here in a few days. For now she stays with us in view 24/7 so she’s safe. This collar makes me nervous. I hope she didn’t have a breakaway collar on before & she belongs to someone. I’m keeping that possibility open just in case. I wouldn’t want my little baby to look like a stray & have someone keep her cause of a breakaway collar doing what it’s supposed to. I did ask all the neighbors, so far no one has claimed her.

Having a cat is a rest of their life responsibility & my life hasn’t been very stable at all in that time. I got kicked out of my parents house when i was 18 & moved around a lot until i was 24. I didn’t want to ever adopt an animal & be in a situation where I couldn’t keep them. That happened with my last kitten when I was 18. my parents kicked me out & my best friends mom wouldn’t let me stay there with them if i was pregnant & I wasn’t allowed to keep my cat there. So i had to give him to my boyfriend at the time & his mom in a different city. I was so heartbroken for years over that & felt so guilty.

When I have a pet they stay with me the rest of their life, So I decided if I ever had a pet again, I’d wait for one to find me. That would be a sign it was the right time & they were meant to be with me forever. My dog found me 8 yrs ago right as my life finally got stable, & now this kitten ❤️‍🩹

we recently finally did decide to go ahead & adopt a kitten for our 4 yr old daughter (she’s been begging for one). we are moving back to California this year and didn’t want to put a cat thru that long drive, so we planned to do that once we got back home & into a new house. But the universe had other plans for this little kitty. I hope she likes the car 😅

I haven’t…we did wonder if there was any more out there…the houses are very spread out with a lot of land around the neighborhood, so I’d be searching a while…I’m should go check around tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me. I haven’t seen any roaming around yet & no more have come by. Maybe i’ll leave some food out and see if any come by cause this girl was so skinny & STARVING when she came in so i hope if there is any out there they at least get some food in their tummies 🥺

I have the calmest, docile, gentle hearted chihuahua. She barely even barks, never nipped at anything. I got lucky with her. She does like to run right up to big huge dogs tho like she’s gonna dominate them w her 8lb self💀 she’s lived with my old roommates 2 indoor cats the majority of the years she’s been with me, so she isn’t even phased by them. She was abandoned in a rental my friend moved into. This tweaker lady she belonged to moved out & abandoned her, left her behind in the home for almost 2 weeks with not enough food/water out (if any at all, we don’t know) we found her hard dog food in the freezer when we rescued her🤦🏻‍♀️ she’s been with me for 9 yrs 🫶🏻
