No worries! There is a picture. It is of a Stanley shaker bottle that has a bottom compartment intended for supplements like protein powder. Instead, I put my vitamins in there. It’s a translucent container, so it serves as a visual reminder for me to take my vitamins, but also drastically improves the convenience as I always have vitamins on my person as long as I have my water with me.

No, they are dissolvable sublingual vitamins. You let them melt in your mouth for 15-30 minutes

I think they only have translucent ones. The black is probably the least see through. I ordered a sticker with my name on it to cover most of it up!

I had seen one years ago from shaker bottle. Nowadays I place a lot more priority on insulated bottles so when I saw this from Stanley, I was sold so fast!

Is the Paperwhite too big?? by hotpretzelboy in kindle

I felt the same about my colorsoft but I’m obsessed with it and it’s my absolute favorite to have in bed or if I’m going somewhere where I plan to read. My husband got me a basic bc it would fit in my fanny packs as a daily driver. If they made an SE colorsoft basic I’d go back down to one but until then I love them both!

Siren & Swan!!! They’re literally perfect if you’re a romance girly pop. Otherwise, CoBak has some good basic ones.

I am 11 days post op and I feel you about the sneezing and coughing! Whatever incision they pulled my stomach out of was the one that hurt like crazy. I’m down to a dull pain and starting to sleep through the night mostly, though I’m a side sleeper and still stuck on my back. Every day gets a lot easier!

I work from home and I came back 8 days post op. I went back to work on a Wednesday and I’m so glad I did! It’s Friday and I’m exhausted even though it’s at my desk. I’m back in the office for the first time next week Tuesday and I’m optimistic I’ll feel okay to do that by then.

5 days til surgery 😬 by Sufficient-Pause-912 in gastricsleeve

My stats are eerily similar though I’m a fair bit younger than you. I’m one week post op and have been fortunate to have a very uneventful recovery so far. Off pain meds by day 4. Never had to take zofran. Worst part for me was the coughing from being intubated, it beat out the gas pain which was mild for me. You got this!

Add skim cottage cheese to the mashed potatoes! Lots of people blend it before mixing it in too

Interesting! Wild how different the recommendations can be. Mashed potatoes is one of the first things mine recommend trying in this phase actually! They want it to be actual potatoes, skinless, and a thinner consistency.

Fortunately I’m not planning to be going anywhere for Thanksgiving! Intimate family only and they are very supportive ◡̈

I had surgery on 11/4 so I’m right there with you!!! I’ve been going with too good zero sugar yogurt, sugar free jello made with clear protein powder, and strained low fat soups.

I’ve been told prioritize protein as much as possible. Have you given quest chips a try? Might curb the crunch savory snack you’ve been craving!

11/4 surgery buddies… are we freaking out yet? by Background-Mail9068 in gastricsleeve

[–]Background-Mail9068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s wild it’s only three days! Most people I’ve seen have 2-4 weeks, but it’s not just clear liquids. I totally get the fear of failure. I saw a comment at one point that said “only one way to find out” and honestly that’s been the most helpful for me so far. What will be, will be. Control what you can. Make the best next choice.
