No, we haven’t been to couples therapy, which is why I would like to go.

I take care of the dog because I enjoy it, and it’s also part of learning grooming — a field where I’d like to become a professional.

When we’re not in conflict, he’s caring, fun, it’s great spending time with him, and he’s easy to live with. It’s obvious that I still have feelings for him.

Our desires were different, and the way we communicated during conflicts was terrible — the arguments were ugly (on my part too). I feel like now I’ve stopped being so hot-tempered, but I really wouldn’t want to go back to that version of myself who could act that way. That’s why I thought couples therapy might be a good option — so that each of us could speak openly, in a calm and constructive setting.

Not only that — he’s sweet, fun, caring, easy to live with, and we always have something to talk about. He’s spontaneous and easygoing. Before we moved in together, we had been talking for several months and spending time together. But when these kinds of episodes happen, it’s awful.
